Welcome to Townsend House Medical Centre
This website outlines the services we provide for our patients and will give you information that we hope you will find useful. We also offer some interactive services which we hope you will find beneficial.

We are three doctors working in partnership from modern purpose built premises, assisted by a full Primary Health Care Team of salaried GP's, practice nurses, district nurses, health visitor and administrative staff.

From this week patients will now be able to book appointments with Doctors and Nurses up to 12 weeks in advance. For example: patients visiting the surgery for b12 injections will now be able to book their next appointment before leaving the surgery.

If you have any queries about this new service please don't hesitate to contact the surgery.

A day in the life of Your GP

The Doctors together with our Patient Representative Group thought it might be useful to provide a synopsis of the average day encountered by the GP's. This has been produced on the basis of a typical day, however, there are days when deviation occurs such as, emergencies that can come in at any time and these must take priority over routine work.
